Deepak Chahar, a pacer for CSK, tried to run out Vijay Shankar from GT Star at the non-striker's end, and MS Dhoni had a reaction.

In the high-stakes IPL 2023 Qualifier 1 clash between Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans, an amusing run-out incident almost unfolded on Tuesday. After CSK had set a target of 173 runs for GT, the defending champions faced a series of setbacks, losing several wickets. It was during Vijay Shankar’s turn to bat in the 14th over when an intriguing moment took place.

CSK’s pacer, Chahar, attempted to run out Shankar at the non-striker’s end. However, Shankar was not out of his crease. Despite Chahar dislodging the bails, it had no impact, and even the ever-composed Dhoni couldn’t help but smile. Chahar exchanged a smile with Shankar as well, making for a lighthearted moment in the match.
