As a result, the cricket board has confirmed that Jimmy Neesham will be available for selection among the Blackcaps.
All-rounder Jimmy Neesham has taken the help of social media to express his point publicly to his genuine online audience placed on Instagram. He posted a long note of his decision, which gives clarification of his decision. He wrote that it was a difficult decision for him, but he couldn’t go back on his word. He also shared the legal agreement signed by him in the month of July 2022.
I merely understand that the news of my declined contract is made today just because of the money which will be payable to me for representing the country’s team. It’s totally wrong. My intention behind this is that I gave the word to the domestic league previously by signing the official contract, and with due respect to that, I can’t go back on my words to re-sign another contract with New Zealand Cricket, as written by Jimmy Neesham on Instagram. I hope my fans will show respect for my decision and also believe in my path. And yes, I would be grateful to play for the Blackcaps, which meant a lot to me, quoted by Neesham.
