India lead trainer Rahul Dravid accepts come January, India probably, will have an original capacity ODI crew which will then reliably play for the following 8-9 months paving the way to the World Cup at home in October-November. India’s ODI execution has been trashy with consecutive losses in series against New Zealand and Bangladesh with altogether different crews because of responsibility the board related stages and mixes. Inquired as to whether batting and bowling in the center overs is turning into an issue, Dravid said it hasn’t been simple not having the full crew.
I surmise according to our point of view, it has not been not difficult to play. We don’t have full crew. Ideally, from January, contingent upon wounds, we will get full crew to play home series. We have nine ODIs before IPL (3 versus NZ, 3 versus SL and 3 versus Aus.) and ideally, we will get to play a settled crew in those games,” Dravid said at post-match public interview.
Over the most recent two years, we had focused on T20s a ton as there were two World Cups. In the following 8-10 months, we will focus on ODI cricket. Shuffling three formats is difficult.
“Presently, our white ball young men (subject matter experts) will get some rest with Test matches being played,” Dravid added.
