Reflecting on the previous World Test Championship final where India suffered an eight-wicket defeat against New Zealand, Shubman Gill acknowledged the team’s discussions regarding their performance and expressed their determination to rectify their mistakes in the upcoming match.
“We, as a team, have had thorough discussions regarding the teachings we gained from that game, especially in terms of our batting performance. Our aim is to address the errors we made previously and ensure we overcome them this time,” Gill concluded.
Gill also recognized that Test cricket presents a different set of circumstances and that the conditions in England would differ significantly from those in India.
