Founded in 2016, Pakistan Super League is a T20 based tournament that recently played its sixth edition. PSL has six teams representing six cities in Pakistan. Generally, PSL is held during February and March. However, due to Covid, the 6th edition of the Pakistan Super League Match was suspended mid-tournament and rescheduled in June at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
PSL 2021 began its first match on 20th February in Karachi, while the finale took place on 24th June in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

PSL 2021 came to an end with Multan Sultan claiming their first title trophy in Pakistan Super League. Although unexpected on basis of their performance before 2021 match suspension, Multan came back strongly into the tournament after the league resumed in Abu Dhabi in June.
Multan Sultan was the sixth team that was added to PSL in 2018, but beats favorites Islamabad United in the qualifier. While Peshawar was third time unlucky, falling in the final for a third time alongside 2018 and 2019.
