Ultimately, Mumbai Indians vs Delhi Capitals match is going to be the finals. Played today from 7:30 PM IST at the Dubai International Stadium, the match kept fans of both the teams waited to see the outcome of the spectacular clash. Mumbai Indians is a veteran when it comes to finals. Having lifted the trophy 4 times earlier, it was sure that the team won’t leave any stones unturned to lift it this year as well. Delhi Capitals, on the other hand, had a bright start, then fumbled a little along the way only to get back the foothold again to save itself from elimination. This happened to be Delhi Capitals’ maiden finale.
In fact, in this season itself, MI had already won 3 Mumbai Indians vs Delhi Capitals Match IPL.
In today’s Mi vs DC IPL 2020 finals, DC won the toss and chose to bat. Marcus Stoinis was one of the trump cards of the team. But MI’s bowling in the MI vs DC IPL match is something to look out for.
Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult were the key bowlers. Bumrah got to greet Stoinis with his superb bowling in the very first ball and ended up getting him caught. DC’s Kagiso Rabada supported his team throughout while also trying to keep his ‘purple cap’ intact. Suryakumar Yadav gets to face Rabada’s fearful bowling. Shreyas Iyer’s support was also invaluable to the team.
MI, however, had to worry somewhat about their tired players. Rohit Sharma’s game hasn’t been quite as good as before since his return from the injury. Despite this, the team’s effort was commendable.
Anrich Nortje’s out-and-out pace was a challenge for Kieron Pollard. In short, the match was fiery! Excitement levels had ruptured every thermometer. Breaths were bated! But there can be only one winner and MI’s victory brought an end to the action-packed 13th season of the IPL.
