The ICC announced the Schedule for the Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 on Tuesday. The past season’s finalists, England, and New Zealand, will begin their ODI tournament on October 5 at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
While India will show their action against Australia in the ICC cricket competition on October 8 at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai, Ahead of the ICC tournament, which will go longer in October and November 2023, Sourav Ganguly has shared his emotional message online.
He felt emotional after seeing the whole India schedule announced by the ICC on Tuesday. Currently, he misses his actionable work as president of the India team. On Twitter, he shared a post on his official account with an emotional caption: Looking ahead to the ICC Cricket World Cup Schedule 2023, I missed myself as a President of an Indian Community. It is the greatest thing that India is hosting this season’s ICC tournament, says Sourav Ganguly.
So far, the BCCI Secretary, Jay Shah, has also described his feelings in words, i.e., It’s a wonderful thing that India is going to host the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup this season. Hopefully, the Indian cricket team will rock at the home series.
