Ravi Shastri, a former cricketer from India, has expressed his support for Rohit Sharma, the captain of Mumbai Indians (MI), who is currently out of form. Shastri believes that Sharma will perform well in their upcoming game against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and that the player from Mumbai does not require any additional motivation to get out of his current slump.
During an interview on Star Sports Studio, Shastri stated, “Sharma is unfortunate to not be scoring runs despite playing a few balls. It will become challenging to halt him once he begins scoring runs with his bat. This is a different guy.”
So far in 13 matches of IPL 2023, the captain of MI has scored only 257 runs with an average of 19.77, excluding the final league game versus Sunrisers Hyderabad.
